You can save programs from the ReplayTV to a VCR or DVD Recorder by using the SAVE TO VCR function from the REPLAYTV GUIDE.  Before you can perform this, you must connect a VCR to the ReplayTV. 

Connect a Red, White and Yellow Composite cables from OUT1 or OUT2 on the ReplayTV to a LINE INPUT on the VCR or DVD Recorder.  You will need to access that LINE INPUT in order to begin recording.  Refer to that specific device for connecting a VCR or Video Camera to the VCR or DVD Recorder.

Once everything has been connected correctly, you can save the program using the following steps.  During this record process the ReplayTV will need to remain powered ON for the show to record.

Additionally, you may want to turn OFF Commercial Advance if the program contains dark segments or if it skips incorrectly.

Finally, the VCR or DVD Recorder will record exactly what you see on screen; so if you press any button on the ReplayTV, it will be recorded on screen.

SAVE TO VCR:

• Turn on your VCR.
• Insert a videotape into your VCR, ensure that the write-protect tab is not missing [allowing recording].
• Choose the appropriate LINE INPUT on the VCR.
• Press REPLAYTV GUIDE.
• Highlight the recording you want to save to videotape.
• Press SELECT.
• Select SAVE TO VCR.
• Select CONTINUE to start the countdown.
• Press RECORD on your VCR.

After the program has finished recording, confirm that the VCR has recorded the program before deleting.
